What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Develop and maintain effective customer relations within an assigned territory to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
– Implement sales strategies and initiatives to achieve and exceed sales targets
– Independently make decisions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs
– Perform sales calls and manage vendor relations with all customers in the assigned territory
– Continuously seek out new business opportunities to expand the customer base and maintain accurate territory management records

What is Required (Qualifications):
– Bachelor’s degree required; a degree in a science-related field is preferred
– Minimum of 2 years of prior sales experience
– Experience in the research laboratory industry or relevant lab experience is preferred
– Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills
– Proficient in MS Office and internet-based tools; must demonstrate organizational skills to meet deadlines
