A company is looking for a Sr. Reimbursement Specialist - Fixed Term.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct benefit investigations and verify insurance benefits for patients and physicians
- Accurately maintain data in client databases and monitor outstanding items on client case files
- Participate in call center activities, responding to inquiries from patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- 4 - 6 years' experience in insurance, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries
- Computer proficiency in MS Office applications; database experience is a plus
- Knowledge of third-party billing, coding, medical terminology, and prior authorizations preferred
- Experience in customer service and/or reimbursement is beneficial
