Job description: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Greater Chicago – Onsite (1-2 days WFH once acclimated)
Responsibilities:
• Collaborates with Talent Acquisition and Human Resources department and oversee our full lifecycle recruiting for hourly employees.
• Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs
• Manage the interview process to include scheduling, preparing questions and other materials, participating as an interviewer, facilitating feedback sessions, extending offers and coordinating on-boarding processes.
• Lead campus recruitment efforts, including the development and implementation of annual summer internship program and associated university recruitment/partnership strategies.
• Determine selection criteria
• Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
• Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System
• Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements
• Lead employer branding initiatives
• Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events
• Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs by department
• Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates
• Follow and abide by compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws related to employment
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3+ years of progressive full lifecycle recruiting experience with concentration in hourly manufacturing jobs and campus recruiting for technical disciplines
• Must be willing to work onsite for a minimum of 90 days, once acclimated, 1 day WFH is available
• Must be willing to work an occasional weekend attending Job Fairs.
• Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role
• Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks
• 2+ years of experience using an Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced working environment.
