Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Verification Specialist to support healthcare operations remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits using various tools and communication methods
• Update and maintain patient demographic and insurance data in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
• Document key benefit details and collaborate with clinical and billing teams regarding eligibility and authorization status

Required Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in healthcare administration (insurance verification, patient registration, or medical billing)
• Familiarity with health insurance terminology and basic understanding of government-sponsored plans (Medicaid and Medicare)
• Proficient in navigating healthcare systems; experience with EHRs preferred
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check
• Experience in high-volume healthcare settings is preferred
