A company is looking for a Benefits Specialist for a fully remote, 6-month contract position.
Key Responsibilities
- Plans and communicates benefits offerings for the firm
- Negotiates benefits terms and renewals with vendors/brokers
- Manages benefits administration for all offices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in benefits administration or human resources
- Basic knowledge of employee benefits programs including medical, dental, and 401(k)
- Familiarity with benefits compliance requirements (e.g., ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA)
- Experience working with benefits vendors, brokers, and third-party administrators
