Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Necessity Specialist - MCO.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, send out, and obtain medical necessity documentation in a timely manner
• Maintain and update medical necessity information and communicate with relevant parties regarding documentation needs
• Submit appropriate documentation and maintain a daily follow-up system for medical necessity documentation

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Experience with a medical supply company
• Knowledge of diagnosis and medical terminology
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Experience in healthcare, medical, and/or HME industry preferred
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
