Key Responsibilities
- Create, send out, and obtain medical necessity documentation in a timely manner
- Maintain and update medical necessity information and communicate with relevant parties regarding documentation needs
- Submit appropriate documentation and maintain a daily follow-up system for medical necessity documentation
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Experience with a medical supply company
- Knowledge of diagnosis and medical terminology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Experience in healthcare, medical, and/or HME industry preferred
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
