California Provider Contracts Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Provider Contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Provider Contracting functions and negotiate contracts with the Complex Provider Community
• Develop health plan-specific provider contracting strategies, including Value Based Payment initiatives
• Ensure compliance with network adequacy requirements and monitor performance through reports

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years of experience in Healthcare Administration, Managed Care, or Provider Contracting
• 3+ years of experience in provider contract negotiations in a managed healthcare setting
• Working knowledge of managed healthcare provider compensation methodologies
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing or supervising employees
