Job Summary
A company is looking for a Claims Examiner I Supplemental Health.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and process claims for Wellness, Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity benefits in compliance with laws and guidelines
- Review documentation to verify eligibility and authorize claim payments up to $5,000
- Provide accurate and timely customer service while managing a case load and documenting actions appropriately
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; relevant Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Minimum of one year related claims experience preferred
- Experience in decision-making and information analysis
- Good math and calculation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and experience with automated claim systems desirable
