Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mid-senior level associate specializing in Executive compensation and benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on complex executive compensation and employee benefits issues in M&A, private equity transactions, IPOs, joint ventures, and restructurings
  • Counsel founders, CEOs, senior executives, and boards on executive employment agreements, equity incentive plans, deferred compensation arrangements, and performance-based pay
  • Provide strategic advice on tax and ERISA compliance issues related to equity compensation and nonqualified deferred compensation programs


Required Qualifications
  • 4-8 years of experience in Executive compensation, ideally at an AM Law 50 firm
  • Strong background in advising on executive compensation matters
  • Experience with transformative corporate events and sensitive situations
  • Ability to work in an ambitious and high-performing team environment
  • Flexibility to work remotely with support from the New York office
