Large Loss BI Adjuster

Job Summary

A company is looking for a First Party UM/UIM Large Loss BI Adjuster.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs file reviews for complex projects or cases in litigation, analyzes data, and reports findings
• May review cases to determine if Closed Without Payment (CWP) is appropriate based on gross tort value exposure
• Supports the Field with discretionary referrals on complex coverage issues and coordinates with Home Office Claim litigation as needed

Required Qualifications

• Substantial experience as a claims adjuster, particularly with serious bodily injury claims
• Preferred litigation experience, especially in managing complex cases
• Ability to handle cases in bad faith jurisdictions and with high exposure limits
• Experience in granting settlement authority on claims exceeding Market Claim Office (MCO) limits
• Knowledge of coverage, liability, and damages on complex claims
