Job Summary
A company is looking for a Leave Specialist to manage employee leave programs and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and track all leave of absence requests, ensuring compliance with applicable laws
- Coordinate with HR, payroll, and management to ensure accurate leave tracking and pay continuation
- Provide guidance on leave-related regulations and support employees with claim filings
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience accepted
- SHRM-CP/PHR, SHRM-SCP/SPHR, or Certified Leave Management Specialist (CLMS) certification desired
- Minimum three years of direct experience administering leave programs, including FMLA and multi-state leave management
- Experience with California, Washington, New York, and Massachusetts paid leave programs desired
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft programs and various HRIS platforms
