Military Peer Support Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Military/Veteran Peer Support Specialist III.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains peer-to-peer relationships to identify emotional, psychiatric, or behavioral changes in individuals served
• Documents all contact information and inputs data in accordance with departmental protocols
• Maintains cooperative work relationships with unit staff and contributes to unit morale

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least three (3) years of active duty service or thirty (30) days in a combat zone, or four (4) years in the National Guard
• Demonstrated ability to use a computer for recording services and basic office functions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
