Occupational Health Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Occupational Health Specialist to ensure employee health and safety, manage workplace injury prevention, and oversee the return-to-work process.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate workers' compensation claims from initial report through resolution
• Provide support for medical assessments and monitor workplace injury trends
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and maintain accurate medical records

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health, Public Health, Safety Management, or a related field; Registered Nurse preferred
• Certified Occupational Health Specialist (COHS) credential is preferred
• Minimum of three years of experience in occupational health or a related field
• Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws and medical case management
• Proficiency with electronic health records and case management software
