A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Customer Services Representative I to assist with customer service and collections.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer calls in a call center environment to assist callers with various requests and inquiries
- Process payments, establish payment plans, and maintain patient accounts while ensuring compliance with regulations
- Resolve billing problems and interact with patients, representatives, and insurance companies to achieve payment of accounts
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Less than 1 year of work experience, preferably 3-6 months in a related field
- Knowledge of HIPAA and privacy standards
- Ability to enter data electronically and verify account balances
- Participation in educational programs and inservice meetings is expected
