Key Responsibilities
- Screen patients for eligibility for state and federal assistance programs
- Assist patients with applications for appropriate assistance and provide detailed instructions
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient accounts and follow up on applications
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Previous customer service or call center experience preferred
- Experience with medical coding or billing is a plus
- Proficient PC knowledge with typing speed of 30-40 wpm
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
