A company is looking for a Patient Balance Customer Service Rep.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responds to incoming calls to assist patients and resolve billing and payment issues
  • Processes payments, adjustments, claims, and financial applications accurately and timely
  • Reconciles account balances and works with payors to ensure maximum reimbursement
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
  • Knowledge of patient financial services and insurance processes, typically acquired through one or more years of experience
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Strong knowledge of office software, including word processing and spreadsheets
  • Experience with cash collections is preferred
