A company is looking for a Patient Balance Customer Service Rep.
Key Responsibilities
- Responds to incoming calls to assist patients and resolve billing and payment issues
- Processes payments, adjustments, claims, and financial applications accurately and timely
- Reconciles account balances and works with payors to ensure maximum reimbursement
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
- Knowledge of patient financial services and insurance processes, typically acquired through one or more years of experience
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong knowledge of office software, including word processing and spreadsheets
- Experience with cash collections is preferred
