A company is looking for a Patient Financial Recovery Specialist to assist hospital patients with their account inquiries and payment responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound and place outbound calls to assist patients with their accounts
- Set up payment arrangements and process credit card payments over the phone
- Research insurance information and maintain accurate account records
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a call center environment
- Familiarity with the medical billing process is preferred
- Proficient PC knowledge and typing skills of 30-40 wpm
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
