Job Summary
A company is looking for a Sr Credentialing Coordinator to manage the credentialing process for clinical staff and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end credentialing process for providers, including maintaining the Morrissey Credentialing Database
- Stay current on state and federal requirements to ensure continuous compliance and support accreditation efforts
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive process improvements and develop workflows for efficiency and accuracy
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field preferred
- 6+ years of relevant experience in medical staff issues, including credentialing and CMS
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience may be considered as an exception
- Experience with TJC standards and state and federal guidelines for credentialing
- Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) preferred
