Senior Member Engagement Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Specialist, Member Engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Advocate for members by resolving issues and complaints related to Medicaid benefits
• Investigate and address access and cultural sensitivity issues while monitoring grievances
• Provide training and educational materials to staff and assist members with disabilities in navigating their HMO participation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience working with the Medicaid population, preferably in an HMO or MCO setting
• Experience working with disabled, underserved, and/or disadvantaged populations
• Preferred: Graduate Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field
• Preferred: 5+ years of relevant experience
