Job Summary

A company is looking for a Charge Processing Specialist- ENT.

Key Responsibilities

• Process charges and obtain Managed Care authorizations while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
• Coordinate information exchange with other practice plans and verify coding and charge accuracy
• Document and resolve problem charges, ensuring compliance with payer specific guidelines

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Two years of experience in registration, scheduling, and charge posting preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and ICD-9/CPT-4 coding
• Experience with third-party payer billing and reimbursement practices
• Act 34 clearance required
