Ohio Licensed Clinical Documentation Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Documentation Specialist (CDI), Professional Fee (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with CDI program leadership and perform pre-visit and post-claim chart reviews for documentation accuracy
• Utilize performance data to identify high-priority providers and create specialty-specific education based on analytics
• Deliver ongoing feedback and education to providers regarding documentation practices and coding guidelines

Required Qualifications

• High School Equivalent / GED required; Associate's Degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience in coding and/or clinical documentation integrity required; HCC experience preferred
• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or equivalent coding credential required
• Extensive clinical knowledge and understanding of pathophysiology required
• Strong critical thinking and project management skills required
