Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up with payers to resolve outstanding claims and ensure timely billing
• Monitor and update patient and financial information for accuracy
• Analyze payment delays and initiate appeals as necessary

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 2-3 years' experience in insurance collections and hospital billing
• Basic knowledge of healthcare claims processing (ICD-9/10, CPT, HCPC codes)
• Experience with various billing and workflow systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
