A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative - Remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up with payers to resolve outstanding claims and ensure timely billing
- Monitor and update patient and financial information for accuracy
- Analyze payment delays and initiate appeals as necessary
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 2-3 years' experience in insurance collections and hospital billing
- Basic knowledge of healthcare claims processing (ICD-9/10, CPT, HCPC codes)
- Experience with various billing and workflow systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
