Refund Process Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Refund Process Representative I - Part Time.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve credit balances and requests for refunds within hospital and professional billing systems
• Utilize multiple systems to determine appropriate actions for resolving credit balances
• Document actions taken to resolve credit or refund requests and assist with ad hoc projects as needed

Required Qualifications

• High School Graduate
• Typically requires 1 year of experience in a healthcare business office setting
• No licensure, registration, or certification required
• Basic understanding of healthcare and insurance regulations
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
