Job Summary
A company is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist - ASL Recruitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively source, screen, and interview ASL interpreters and related professionals
- Guide candidates through the recruitment process and assess their qualifications
- Partner with internal teams to understand staffing needs and ensure timely placement of interpreters
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in language services or healthcare/education settings
- Familiarity with ASL interpreting field and interpreter certifications (RID, NIC, BEI, etc.)
- Knowledge of Deaf culture
- Strong networking skills and ability to build relationships with interpreters and Deaf community organizations
- Passion for accessibility, inclusion, and bridging communication gaps
