Job Summary

A company is looking for a Human Resources Classification Specialist to support the Defense Security Cooperation University (DSCU).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance on classification, position management, and organizational structure compliance with OPM and DoD regulations
  • Review and audit position descriptions and organizational structures, making recommendations for improvements
  • Oversee classification for positions under AD and GS pay schedules, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal standards
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive HR experience with a focus on classification and position management
  • Expertise in interpreting and applying OPM classification standards and DoD policies
  • Experience conducting audits and analyzing organizational structures for improvement
  • Ability to explain classification methodologies and their impacts to leadership and managers
  • Active SECRET security clearance
