Job Summary
A company is looking for a Human Resources Classification Specialist to support the Defense Security Cooperation University (DSCU).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on classification, position management, and organizational structure compliance with OPM and DoD regulations
- Review and audit position descriptions and organizational structures, making recommendations for improvements
- Oversee classification for positions under AD and GS pay schedules, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive HR experience with a focus on classification and position management
- Expertise in interpreting and applying OPM classification standards and DoD policies
- Experience conducting audits and analyzing organizational structures for improvement
- Ability to explain classification methodologies and their impacts to leadership and managers
- Active SECRET security clearance
