Job Summary

A company is looking for a Member Advocate I to act as an advocate for members and facilitate access to care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and respond to member complaints and grievances, identifying and resolving access barriers
  • Investigate and address access and cultural sensitivity issues raised by various stakeholders
  • Engage with local community organizations to understand members' healthcare needs and update educational materials
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of customer service experience in a healthcare environment
  • Medicare and/or Medicaid experience preferred
  • Fluency in Russian, Korean, Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Hindi, or Urdu is highly preferred
  • Understanding of HIPAA guidelines for confidentiality
